Description: 'Gypsies are for real' depicts two stories: the first 6 pages show a gypsy everyman and his non-descript, Polish surroundings while the last 4 portray the lush gypsy residence previously belonging to a gypsy-king but recently purchased by a Polack businessman. The design for this project originally started as a fold-out booklet. When we decided to include the story in Fluid, I wanted the design to emphasize the strong fantasy element that had inspired the project: finding these baroque buildings in the middle of a quite desolate Polish countryside.
