| Cross Magazine issue 2 |
|
The 2nd issue is about the collapse of time and failure but in a defeatist sense: we know we will fail but will try nonetheless. The Russian Futurists (Mayakovsky, Khlebnikov) portended a doom that eventually befell them unlike their Italian counterparts who were almost amnesiac in their utopianism. A slavic take on romanticism.
Oksana Akinshina, the teenage Russian ingenue of cult film 'Lilya 4 Ever', is featured on the quadrifold cover of issue 2.
